Celebrants Nerja

Below is a list of the Celebrants who we recommend. They are all very experienced and will work with you to create your perfect ceremony. You can also bring your own celebrant to perform the ceremony if you wish. Unlike catholic priests all celebrants are happy to perform same sex ceremonies, ceremonies of divorcees and will help you design your own personal celebration and include traditional or cultural elements like Las Arras, sand ceremonies, handfasting etc.

“I try to ensure each couples special day is made even more special with a ceremony that is individually designed to suit their own personalities. You can make your ceremony tailor made to suit you and your own unique personalities. Semi religious or non religious ceremonies, poems, readings, sand ceremony, candle ceremony, wine ceremony, breaking of glass ceremony and hand fasting ceremony. You have complete control of how you´d like your ceremony to be”.

Amanda is a very warm and friendly person and always so easy to talk to.  She will make sure her couples feel very happy and calm on their wedding day and will ensure they don´t feel nervous.

Tony has a very pleasant, calm and engaging character. Many couples have found his warmth infectious, which enables them to feel very at ease on their big day.

I believe a wedding ceremony should be all about the couple &  who they are. It can be as traditional or alternative as you wish. Its your day & its all about you. It can include as much or as little as you would like (with regards to readings, poems, music, unity rituals or friends, family members, children) or none of the above if you just want to keep it simple. That’s where I come in. I can advise you from my years of experience, what works best for you as a couple, so you get the wedding ceremony that reflects  your personalities and your beliefs. With my help we put together a unique and personal ceremony you and your guests will always remember”.

Liz (English)

“I became a celebrant on the Costa del Sol in 2004. After writing and officiating hundreds of ceremonies over the years, I still get excited about every single ceremony I perform. I love my job! Each ceremony is totally bespoke so there are no limits to your ceremony. Just your characters and personalities shining through. I will get to know ‘you’ as a couple and this will be reflected by creating your perfect Ceremony. You might wish to express your vows to each other in your own words. You may wish to be formal or thoroughly informal, light-hearted or romantic! You may wish to blend your two faiths or have no religion at all. I will use my years of experience to guide you through choosing your Wedding Vows, Rituals and any Readings you may wish to include to create your own unique ceremony”.

Drew (English)

“Your Wedding, Your Way… As a Celebrant, I always do my best to provide you with a one of a kind and memorable ceremony. Once we have met, we start building a bond so that you feel that you are being celebrated by someone you know. I will learn about you, your story and what is important to you, including personalities, beliefs, dreams and wishes, and together we will write a bespoke ceremony, which I will deliver on the day.

During the ceremony, we can include readings, poems, rituals, songs…  The list is endless. I will be on hand to help the whole way. At the end of the ceremony, I will give you the actual ceremony script in a binder. Additionally, I will provide a certificate that can be signed by you both and witnesses”.
